Each composition reflects a chapter of her journeys, bringing distant landscapes, inner transformation and a pioneering spirit to life through sound. The music blends modern jazz with influences from classical music and pop – somewhere between Tigran Hamasyan, Brahms and Radiohead – with a strong focus on storytelling and strong melodic arcs.

Viennese pianist and composer Martin Listabarth has established himself as a distinctive voice in European jazz, performing at festivals and venues across the continent. Together with Gidi Kalchhauser (bass) and Sebastian Simsa (drums), the trio creates a dynamic and narrative sound, moving seamlessly between lyrical intimacy and powerful, rhythmically driven passages.

For this special concert at Philly Joe’s, the trio is joined by acclaimed Estonian singer, improviser and composer Anett Tamm. Driven by curiosity, storytelling and conceptual approaches, Anett has found an outlet for her voice and compositions in different collaborations and forms. Anett’s main projects include her folk-pop solo project Alonette, indie-jazz duo TamTam, the experimental art rock ensemble Anemoon and the border-crossing Estonian-French collaboration with David Chevallier Trio. Anett holds a Master of Music degree in jazz and improvised music from the Estonian Academy of Music, received the Estonian Jazz Awards Young Jazz Talent prize in 2022 and was nominated thrice at the 2026 Estonian Music Awards with her album "Compass" (Alonette).

Together, Martin Listabarth Trio and Anett Tamm create a cross-border musical encounter – a concert that combines instrumental virtuosity, lyrical expression and cinematic storytelling in an intimate club atmosphere.
