On 26th September at 17.30 we invite you to TYPA's paper kitchen to craft yourself some fresh new bills to make yourself feel slightly richer!
Big thanks to all of you who participated in the special PRESSFEST Scrap Night! It was truly a celebration of the joy of printmaking and we are amazed by the works you made.
Organising a festival is always a big expense, so during the next event we are taking matters into our own crafty hands and quite literally making money. Come on Saturday, 26th of September, at the usual time 17.30 and join us on the mischievous quest!
We’ll prepare banknote-sized pieces of paper scraps and you’ll have the chance to design and create your own money. Revival of some old currencies, inventing completely new ones, re-imagining what is already in daily use? It’s all up to you! To not let your printmaking enthusiasm fade out, we will have cardboard, inks and rollers/miniature presses at hand. Alternatively, you can do some good old collage, or combine the techniques. Money exchange initiatives are also encouraged! Let’s bring every kid’s dream to life and solve the money problem for good - by producing as many banknotes as we wish!
Due to the rising prices of snacks there will be a symbolic fee of 1 euro so everybody could have a sweet treat to keep up the mood. NB! The fee should be paid by the money you bring with you, not the money you produce during the event.
