Autumn is mushroom season, and once again, Tartu Nature House is bringing the fungal world into focus.
From 15-19 September, our exhibition hall will be filled with mushrooms collected from forests, meadows and parks across Southern Estonia. Come and discover the remarkable variety of fungi found in our local landscapes, from familiar species to more unusual finds.
The exhibition changes from day to day, as fresh specimens are brought in throughout the week. So if you’re a true mushroom enthusiast, it’s worth coming back for another look!
There’s more to explore beyond the exhibition itself. If you feel like continuing your exploration outdoors, mushrooms growing in the Tartu Nature House park will be marked throughout the exhibition, making it easy to spot some of the fungal life right on our doorstep.
